How to choose the suited downlight recessed ?
1, What do you want to light? Recessed light fixtures are very versatile. They can be used to provide general lighting, task lighting or accent lighting. For general lighting in a large room or hallway or corridor, you probably need a downlight. To light up sculpture, you may want an eyeball downlight spot adjustable. To highlight or show the texture of the wall or large painting, you might choose a wall washer.
2, What size fixture do you want? To make sure recessed downlights are spread evenly, divide the ceiling height by 2. An 8-foot ceiling, for example, install recessed lights about 4 feet apart. This is just a general rule and may not apply if there is other lighting purpose. When you’re planning out a recessed downlight, it’s a good idea to draw a diagram of the room first and include representations of the furniture and objects (particularly if you need to put a light above certain things).
3, What color temperature you want? 2700-3000k-This is the warm or soft light range, best suited for areas where you want to relax or entertain. 3500k-4500k-This is more a neutral light range, giving a balance between warm and soft color light, is widely applied at home or workplace. Over 5000k-Generally referred to as daylight and best suited for offices, workshops, bathrooms or other places where high detail visibility is important.
